We aim to increase added values in the Otemachi-Marunouchi-Yurakucho district and contribute to sustained growth in central Tokyo.
For sustained development, we carry out city planning through the appropriate and efficient development and utilization of urban spaces partnering up with key players such as corporations, organizations, and the government under the “Guideline for the Redevelopment of the Area” formulated by the Advisory Committee on Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho Area Development.

The Otemachi-Marunouchi-Yurakucho district in Chiyoda Ward is situated near Tokyo Station. Here is a center of international business district that supports Japanese economy, many major domestic and foreign companies gather here to engage in economic activities.
For Japan, to continue to grow as one of the leaders of the global economy in today’s global competition among large cities, development and reinforcement of the district are essential. To achieve this, active city developments under Chiyoda Ward’s policy for city planning need to be carried out while taking full advantage of the excellent locational conditions of Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho.
In 1988, landowners of the district established the Otemachi–Marunouchi–Yurakucho District Redevelopment Project Council in accordance with the urban redevelopment policies of the Tokyo metropolitan area and the city planning policy of Chiyoda Ward. They made this to discuss concrete city development plans based on the government’s policies for city planning. The council later underwent organizational changes and became the Council for Area Development and Management of Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho to promote development of the district, and it continues to sustain its activities today.
